Who is Justin B. Evans?

I am a Washington DC-ish area artist and web designer. I have a history of working with lots of mediums but lately I've been doing primarily digital illustration. This website acts simply as a place to store and share my work. I have another website called BWISH Studios which is home to larger projects, including my films and work with Michael C. Chen.

I graduated from the Corcoran College of Art + Design in 2006 with a BFA in Fine Art; my senior thesis is one of the most popular things around here, as it rides on the coat tails of nostalgia. I have since moved on from the variety of mediums and began focusing pretty much exclusively on illustration. Through BWISH Studios and with the help of Michael C. Chen, I just want to share stories through my work, it's as simple as that.

I currently work full time as a web designer which I'm pretty much self taught. My web design philosophy is simple; make it clean and easy to navigate. I feel like I have the mind of a programmer but the soul of an artist. As a result, I think I have a unique perspective when it comes to web design and art in general. When I'm not exhausted from work and life I try to work on my illustrations and work on new installments of BWISH Studios comics.
