About

I am a Washington DC-ish area artist and web designer. I have a history of working with lots of mediums but lately I've been doing primarily digital illustration as a hobby and web design professionally. This website acts as a place to store and share my work my personal work. I have another website called BWISH Studios which is home to larger projects, including my films, comics, and general collaborations with Michael C. Chen.

I graduated from the Corcoran College of Art + Design in 2006 with a BFA in Fine Art; my senior thesis is one of the most popular things around here, as it rides on the coat tails of nostalgia, and who can't relate to that? I have since moved onto focusing pretty much exclusively on digital illustration and comics. Through BWISH Studios I simply try to share whatever story Michael and I come up with to the best of our ability.

I currently work full time as a web designer, a profession in which I'm pretty much self taught. My web design philosophy is simple; make it clean, pretty, and easy to use. Art typically comes in my free and non-gaming time, which unfortunately there is much of these days, especially with a major house remodeling going on that my wife and I have foolishly decided to tackle ourselves.

  • Steam - I play a lot on Steam under the name "Graedus" (Although I think my Steam ID is actually Teslae).
  • Twitter - Updated relatively frequently but ultimately useless like most Twitter accounts.
  • PSN - I also occassionally play on my PS3 under Teslae.
  • Google+ - Let's plus together! I don't know what this means!

BWISH Studios is the home of collaborative projects between Michael C. Chen and myself. These works include films, comics, and even crazy things like self help web sites that totally crashed and burned. Justin is mainly the "art guy" and Mike is generally the "writing guy".

BWISH Studios was originally a film "studio" but we have since transitioned into comics. It's not very active these days as we do things like, remodel our houses and finish grad school, but check out the archives!
